ZABYTKI CIESZYNA

Najstarszym miastem w Polsce byłby Cieszyn, gdyby wierzyć legendzie, która mówi, że został założony w 810 r. przez trzech synów polskiego księcia Leszka III, Bolka, Leszka i Cieszka. Bracia ciesząc się ze swego szczęśliwego spotkania nad źródełkiem, założyli miasto nadając mu nazwę Cieszyn. W miejscu legendarnego spotkania znajduje się studnia nazywana Studnią Trzech Braci. Pierwsza wzmianka o niej pochodzi z 1434 r., a należała ona do braci dominikanów. Do XIX w. czerpał z niej wodę browar mieszczański.
